(Houston, TX – September 16, 2024) – Parking Guidance Systems, LLC (PGS) is pleased to announce that it has hired Patrick Kelley to be its first Chief Operating Officer. Over the last several years, PGS has experienced exceptional growth; starting off as a small regional installer of parking guidance systems to where it is today, a nationwide, designer, distributor, and installer of the INDECT Parking Guidance System with multiple locations across the country.
“For our growth to be sustainable, we needed to bring in experience at the highest-level to help us remain focused on complete customer satisfaction,” stated Derek Frantz, CEO of PGS. “Patrick brings a unique blend of leadership, communication, budgetary, and organizational skills that will help us become more efficient and remain customer centric.”
When searching for a COO, Frantz took a nontraditional path to find just the right person.
After conducting preliminary searches within the industry, Frantz liked what he saw Patrick accomplish in the non-profit world over a 26-year career. Patrick was able to lead a start-up organization to experience exponential growth and effectively scale it to build tremendous momentum over decades of service. Frantz says, “We are ultimately in the people business and Patrick has demonstrated his organizational leadership expertise along with great success in taking a company to higher levels of effectiveness and that’s what I was looking for.”
Having familiarity with the company founders and believing in the product and service made the decision easier for Patrick to come on board. “I’ve known Derek and Chandrea for over 20 years and have watched Parking Guidance Systems become an industry leader and an amazing success,” said Patrick. “I’m excited to build on what’s been established and operate the company with the same integrity where our technology and solutions provide the highest benefit to our customers. As inspiring as the PGS story has been over the last 12 years, the next chapter of PGS will surely be even more amazing.”
Patrick, who resides in Sugar Land, Texas, enjoys spending time with his ever-growing family, playing golf, pickleball and smoking a good cigar with friends around his fire pit. He has been married to his high school sweetheart for over 36 years and a father of four grown children and proud grandfather of two.
