After steering Parking Guidance Systems (PGS) to a decade of unprecedented growth as the company’s Vice President and business development lead, Derek Frantz has been tapped to assume the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at the nation’s leading installer and sole distributor of INDECT parking guidance systems in North America.
Frantz co-founded PGS in 2013. From the beginning, his keen vision and strategic direction have helped to grow PGS from a three-person, regional manufacturer’s rep company to a nationwide reseller, designer, and installer of premium parking guidance systems. “Derek’s integrity and salesmanship, combined with two decades of working in the auto industry, helped him win our first few projects to launch the company,” stated Shawn Frantz, President & CMO. “When you add the knowledge he has gained, and the people he has mentored, it’s hard to measure his contribution to the success of our business.”
As CEO, Derek will still oversee business development, as well as work with the sales and operations teams to improve processes to help the company become more efficient. His goal remains the same as it did on day one, to remain focused on delivering the highest-rated parking guidance technology with the highest level of service.
