To support its aggressive growth strategy, Parking Guidance Systems, LLC (PGS) has hired parking industry veteran, Ron Machon, to expand its footprint in the western region. “We’re extremely excited to have Ron on board. He has a broad skill-set and deep understanding of both the operations and sales side of our business,” stated Derek Frantz, CEO of PGS. “Ron is already familiar with our people, technology, and installation processes so he will be able to hit the ground running.”
In his new role, Ron will be responsible for business development and selling of the INDECT system and PGS installation expertise in Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico and Colorado. “I am looking forward to this next step in my career. I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with PGS on several projects in the past,” added Machon. “The combination of Indect’s premium guidance technology and PGS’s installation and service excellence, is unmatched in our industry.”
Prior to this new role, Machon held regional management positions at SKIDATA AG, who specializes in parking management systems and solutions. He also has more than a decade of parking facility operations experience where Machon improved parking administration processes, and managed financials, revenue forecasts, and staffing levels. “No matter what side of the business you are on the key to success is communication, not just with your employees but with the vendors and contractors as well,” said Machon. “Over the years I’ve built great relationships with a lot of professionals within the industry and can’t wait to reconnect with them.”
The PGS western region office will be located in Denver, CO, where Machon resides with his wife and two children, a six-year-old son and three-year-old daughter. In his spare time, you will find Ron immersed in a home improvement project. “I love taking on projects around the house. It both humbling and satisfying at the same time.”
