Derek always aims higher. After more than 20 years in the automotive industry, buying and selling cars with a high level of service and founding his own premium, automotive brokerage firm that provided concierge service, it was natural to segue to an industry like parking guidance systems. A relatively new concept in 2013, Derek saw the opportunity and dove in. By applying his best-in-class, entrepreneurial perspective, Derek has built a leadership niche for PGS, partnering with premium equipment suppliers, creating custom solutions and installing guidance technology that continually improves the parking experience for our clients and their customers.
From the beginning, Derek’s vision and strategic direction have helped to grow Parking Guidance Systems, LLC from a three-person, regional manufacturer’s rep company to become one of the largest distributors and installers of customized, parking guidance technologies in the nation.

At PGS Derek leads business development which means growing the business every day. He works closely with sales team, guides strategic planning and operations, steadfastly maintaining everyone’s focus on delivering the highest-rated parking guidance technology with the highest level of service. When not selling parking guidance systems, Derek can be found playing golf, basketball or working out.
